I have a little more info onTillie's parents, and some dates, and census records. I am interested in finding out more about the Erikson's (Tillie's mother.) I believe they are somehow related to the Peter Mohr that is listed in Clinton and Scott Counties but am still struggling to get the right connections.

Some Wilsons, originally from England in the mid 1800s, married into my husband's GEORGE family, who lived in Wheatland. One of the sons was George Anthony Wilson b 1870, died 1945, who had two children that I know of: Anthony and Amy. In 1880 the Wilsons were living in Davenport, Scott County, but with ties to Wheatland, maybe George Anthony moved to Clinton County? Do you think we have a connection here?

They also didn't share my recollection of a "Junior Wilson", to my disappointment, since I remember playing catch with him in the vicinity of Doc's home. Your info from the 1930 census about John J. being in the household seems to vindicate my memory---in 1934 I was 9 yrs old and "Junior" was 13---I must have assumed that his last name was Wilson---all of which does not help you in your quest. I have not had access to the 1930 census---am wondering if it might indicate whether Doc owned, or rented, the residence. If he owned, then sold---I might be able to pin down the year of the sale, then (perhaps) find a newspaper news item concerning his move. Why don't you email me what you have from the 1930 census so that I can mull it over. Another thought. Maybe you should post another quiry---for Sacrider (sp?)---it coul! dn't hurt! Smiles, John

The 1930 census shows George Wilson and wife Carrie (her maiden name was Sackrider) with a John J. listed as a grandson age 9 living with them. John was born in Ohio, his father born in Iowa and his mother's birthstate is illeligible. Could this be the George Jr. you were referring to? Thanks for your info by the way. Perhaps you can attend. The book that you referred to will be released at the reunion. The LDS Church is hosting an exhibition of Sutcliffe Maudsley's works. The same prints and some family history will be in the book. We will have t-shirts avaiable for each family (color coded). As you are off of Marriner, as am I, we will have light blue t-s. There will be a $10 price for the shirts and they will have to be ordered from me in advance. The books will be discounted and will be available in hard and soft covers at the reunion. Prices will almost double when they go on sale at book stores. There will be copy machines and scanners/computers available. Sat Aug 25th will be the most active day with a presentation on Sutcliffe and his family. We will have photos, famly histories, and genealoghy to share with each other. Let me know if you are interested.. Sorry I missed you June 28. Ron Andresen-Clinton, IA [email protected]
