This little girl has grown into a women in the hands of a mother who was given a gift from rose and for that there is no way to say thank you. After almost 35 years the answers are clear but now we just have to find the right questions
I have gotten a question from Bob (email [email protected]) who has a copy of a marriage register. The minister who performed the wedding was a Truesdale or something similar. Any ideas on which church this might have been? He didn't give me any dates or anyother info. I have been trying to find out more info on them and have gotten nowhere. Would appreciate any info on Hannah Schnack that you might have. Cynthia sent us the following info on a great website: For those interested in British research, do check out ACDB. They take old books, put them on CD at a minimal price and then rebind the books and give them to libraries where they will be both used and preserved. They have a wonderful collection by now and are scanning more books each day. They have just started to put out census records, not indexes but copies of the originals. The address is http://www.archivecdbooks.org I have no connection with them other than as a satisfied customer. Check it out. As I mentioned in the post last night, my paternal gramma and Margaret were first cousins. Altho I went out to the Martensen farm many times when I was growing up with my gramma for visits and eggs, and saw Margaret many other times, I kinda remember Mardella and remember the name David, but not Joan. I'm sure they would have known my dad's family ... Meyer from Goose Lake. My gramma was a Bielenberg and Margaret was a Herzberg and gramma's mom and Margaret's dad were siblings. You aren't by any chance Janice the daughter of Lillie are you?? Thanks ... Lynda
