I am searching for info on the Buckman/Koth connection. Emma Buckman 1876-1932 married Henry Palas had many relatives which I know nothing about. Henry H Buckman 23 Oct 1840-30 Nov 1916 M Mary Koth William Buckman 1845-22 Jun 1877 M. Minnie Koth Sophia Buckman 27 Jan 1848-18 May 1910 M. William Koth Any info would be helpful. Emma Buckmann, who married Henry Palas, was the daughter of Johann Friederich Buckman (1837-1917) and Friederike Georgine Wilhelmine Otting (1842-1931). They had six children: Frederick (1867-1954), Johann Heinrich Friederich (1869-1957), William Ernest "Bill" (1871-1953), Emma (1876-1832), Mahala (1879-1895) and Sophia. We also have a Friedericke Buckman (1850-1911) who married Johann Friedrich "Fritz" Otting. Their children were: Maria (1873-1873), Margaretha "Sophia" (1874-1875), Emilie Wilhelmina Sophia (1876-1947), Georgne "Jennie" Fredereka (1878-1962), Herman F. (1880-1953), John Heinrich "Henry" (1882-1965), Justene W. (1884-1977), Odelia Mina (1889-1986), Ada (1891)-1918), and a Baby. Frederike Otting Buckman was a sister to Fritz Otting. Friedericke and Johann Friederich Buckman's parents were Herman "Friedrich" and Sophia Tuember/Toelmer Buckman. Ada Otting married Henry Koth, son of Fred and Catherine Henkes Koth. I'm interested in the Buckmans through the Otting connection and would be interested in more information on the Palas and Fritz Otting families. Lois Ahntholz
