She came to Iowa with her parents when quite young and has since made her home at Luana and later at McGregor. She was twice married, and leaves to mourn her loss, one daughter Mrs. Jess Vaughn, three grandchildren, Charles Vaughan, Mrs. Iva Balcer, Mrs. Jessie Bachtell, and 4 great grandchildren all of McGregor and one brother, Walter Roberts and many other relatives and friends. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the M. E. Church at Luana, Rev. Schepple of McGregor officiating.
