Theo. John Reick died at his home in Littleport, Tuesday, November 8th of pneumonia. He was born Dec 18th, 1845 in Goldberg, Meckl, Schwerin, Germany, coming to America in 1870. He lived in Rochester, New York about seven years, where he was united in marriage with Miss Sophia Meese. They have resided in Cox Creek Township since 1877. He leaves to mourn his wife and five children, Fred Rieck of Cox Creek Township; Chas. Rieck of Guttenberg; Henry Rieck of Cox Creek Township: Mrs. Anna Clinton of Littleport; and Mrs. Ida Clinton of Guttenberg.
