Bush, 87, of Shell Rock, Iowa, died suddenly Thursday, September 22, 2005, at the Shell Rock Health Care Center. The Cremation Society of Eastern Iowa is in charge of arrangements. Loren Albert Bush was born December 4, 1917, to Albert and Lottie (Hilton) Bush in Aurora, Iowa. Loren graduated from Lamont High School. After farming for a time, Loren then served an apprenticeship with the Interstate Power Company of Clermont, Iowa. After his apprenticeship, Loren worked for the Interstate Power Company as a lineman and foreman for 38 years in Elkader, Iowa. Loren also served on the Elkader Ambulance Service for 13 years. Loren is survived by many family and friends Memorials can be made out to the American Heart Association or the Central Ambulance Service of Elkader, in Loren's name.
