HI, Several years ago, in the mid-1990's my husband and I were searching for the death date of my great grandfather. Exhausting all other places, they told us at the County Court HOuse in El Kader to go look at the poor house records and gave us directions to find it. We found it, and went through all their records, even checking out the cemetery there, with no luck.
