I just signed up to this list. I'm searching for my great grandparents William - b 1848 and Izora Barber - b1850. Another researcher found them in the (I think) 1870 census. The census says Spring Rock, Clinton and also mentions Marion. Not being familiar with Iowa I don't know which is the town and which is the county. There is also mention of a Leman Barber and I think he was William's father. As you can probably tell I'm new to the Barber part of my research. If anyone is researching these people or can look up anything for me I would really appreciate it! I would love to know if they were born in Iowa and/or if they are buried there. Thanks so much.
