Buehler, of Sioux City, Iowa, after a long illness. Friends may view the body after 8 p.m., Thursday at the Egelhof Funeral Home. The remains are to be returned to Dubuque early Thursday. Arrangements have not been completed for the funeral Friday afternoon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. Mrs. Abel was born February 26, 1868, in Clayton County, Iowa. She was a resident of Dubuque for many years, but for the past three years has been living in Sioux City. While in Dubuque, she was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. George Wimmer, of Dubuque, Mrs. Earl Shearer of New Haven, Conn. and Mrs. Buehler, two sons, Lloyd Abel, of Dubuque and Jay Abel of Shelton, Wash., one brother, Ed Sheffert of Monona, Iowa, and four granchildren. She was preceded by her husband in 1933 and one son, Warren, who died last year.
