Blume Rites at Milwaukee. Marlin Blume 49 of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, formerly of Guttenberg died at 2:00 a.m. New Year's day in Deaconess Hospital, Milwaukee. Funeral services were held from the Britt Funeral Home with burial at Milwaukee on January 4, 1968. Mr. Blume was born at Millville, Ia. in 1918, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Blume. In the early 50's he left this area, and lived for a time at Clinton. At the time of his death he was employed by a van company in Milwaukee. Mr. Blume is survived by his wife, Violet; one son Marlin Blume, Jr. of Clinton; and six step-children; as well as three brothers, Ronald Blume of Colesburg, and Roland and Willard both of Dubuque, and one grand daughter. He was preceded in death by one brother Harold.
