Gerner <http://iagenweb.org/boards/clayton/obituaries/index.cgi?rev=144757> AUTHOR: Judy Holthaus DATE: 2/9/2007 at 18:09:59 Surnames: GERNER,FRASCHT,SAEUGLING,HEDEMAN,BROCKMAN,EMBERTSON,HENNESEY,MOSER Funeral sercies will be held at 9:30 a.m. this Thursday, March 21, 1968 for Mrs. Neva O. Gerner 73 who died Monday following a brief illness. The services will be at St. Mary's Church with Rev. Alfred J. Schmitz, pastor officiating, and burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in charge of the Tuecke Funeral Home Mrs. Gerner was born June 4, 1893, at Osterdock,Ia. the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Moser. On September 30, 1913, she was married to Lawrence Gerner wno preceded her in death in 1961. Surviving Mrs. Gerner are a son, Raymond Gerner of San Diego, California; and three daughters, Mrs. Louis Frascht fo Charles City, Mrs. Kenneth Saeugling of Guttenberg, and Mrs. Leighton Hedeman of Waterloo. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren; three sisters: Mrs. Anna Brockman of Guttenberg, Mrs. Al Embertson of Elk River, Minnesota, and Mrs. Harold Hennesey of Waterloo; and two brothers, Walter Moser of Cresco, and Martin Moser of Guttenberg. Mrs. Gerner was preceded in death by a daughter Lorraine, and by one brother.
