March 26, 2007 at St. John's Lutheran Church Guttenberg, Iowa Interment: Mederville Cemetery Cheyenne John Robbins was born the son of John Paul and Vicky (Slaughter) Robbins on January 13, 1984 in Prairie du Chien Wis. The Angels called him up to heaven on Thursday, March 22, 2007. Cheyenne attended school in Postville, Elkader, Garnavillo and then Guttenberg where he graduated as a Clayton Ridge Eagle in 2002. After school Cheyenne worked in the parts department at Sut Hill Motors in Prairie du Chien and then in the braid room at Monona Electric. On March 27, 2004 he was united in marriage with Christie Voss at the 1st Lutheran Church in McGregor where he was also baptized 20 years before his wedding. Cheyenne enjoyed being under the hood of any automobile working on engines, transmissions or whatever needed to be fixed. He also had talent for carpentry, welding and artwork. Cheyenne was an avid outdoorsman and loved mud bogging. Cheyenne will be remembered by many especially his wife, Christie; one son, Justice Cheyenne; one daughter, Raven Raine both at home; mother Vicky (Bryant) Baker of Volga; one sister, Pixly Robbins of Volga, IA; one brother, Lawrence (Holly) Robbins of McGregor; maternal grandfather-Scottie (Janet) Slaughter of Dullen, Ariz., maternal grandmother-Peggy (Lawrence) Nicholson of McGregor; paternal grandmother-Carol (Claire) Phelps of Strawberry Point, paternal grandfather-Harry (Gloria) Robbins of Elkader; great grandmother Clara Bohonek of Platteville Wis; mother in law Debbie Voss of Elkader; godparents, Lee and Verna Lenth; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John Paul Robbins, in September of 1988; father-in-law, Eugene Voss; great grandparents, John (Gladys) Robbins, Edward Bohonek and Paul (Sadie) Coon.
