The funeral services were held on Monday, July 23, with Monsignor Ernest Ament officiating. Pallbearers were Ben Matt, Herb Koopman, Don Kraus, Clarence Leitgen, Walt Wright and Clem Meder. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Regina Henrietta Wille was born in 1890 to Xavier and Anna (Berns) Schaefers at Garnavillo. In 1918 she was married to William Joseph Wille at Garnavillo. Surviving her are two sons and five daughters. They are Paul and Sylvester Wille of Garnavillo, Miss Cecelia Wille, Garnavillo, Mrs. Philomena Stewart, Alameda, Calif., Mrs. Lynn (Georgina) Caslavka, North Liberty, Mrs. Dale (Gertrude) Clausing, St. Cloud, Minn., and Mrs. Ed (Ruth) Kiefer, Appleton, Wis. Also surviving are 28 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild. Postville Herald newspaper clipping, hand dated 1973, from my mother's obituary collection. Submitter has no further information.
