He was a former resident of the area. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Spring Grove and at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Tuecke Funeral Home. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Surviving are his wife, Lillian; four daughters, Mrs. George Bakes, Rock Island, Ill., Mrs. William Kunzman, Sioux Falls, S.D., and Mrs. Carson Sandager and Mrs. Joseph Klug, both of Spring Grove; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three brothers and sisters.
