Durr - IAGen DATE: 3/27/2010 at 10:00:12 Surnames: STECKEL,KUNTZ,LEMBKE,STOCKBURGER,ERB,LARSON Lena F. (Kuntz) Lembke died Monday, April 17, 1989 at the St. Francis Care Center in Burlington, IA. Funeral services were held Wednesday April 19, 10 a.m. at Prugh's Funeral Chapel, Burlington. Burial was in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Monona at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 20. Schultz's Funeral Home, Monona, was in charge of local arrangements. She was born July 21, 1904 in Treichlers, PA. Her parents were Preston and Laura (Steckel) Kuntz. She attended school in PA and later taught school in that area. On July 4, 1942 she married Arthur Lembke in Treichlers, PA. They lived in Burlington most of their married life. Preceding her in death was her husband, Arthur, who died May 5, 1983. Surviving is one brother, Phaon Kuntz, of Walnutport, PA and nieces and nephew, Frances Stockburger of Luana, Elmer Erb of McGregor, Helen Larson of Cheverly, MD and Oscar Lembke, of Decorah, Iowa.
