Vogt 1883-1969 <http://iagenweb.org/boards/clayton/obituaries/index.cgi?rev=280630> AUTHOR: Judy Moyna DATE: 5/20/2010 at 02:22:49 Surnames: VOGT,VULLGRAF,LAHRS,GLAWE Fred Vogt 1883-1969 Funeral services for Fred “Fritz” William Henry Vogt, 86, were held at Zion Lutheran Church at Clayton Center Saturday, Dec. 13, at 2 p.m. Burial was in the new Clayton Center Cemetery. The Rev. J. H. Zerhusen, pastor, officiated. Vogt died Wednesday, Dec. 10, at Central Community Hospital in Elkader obstructive heart failure. A son of Frederick and Line Vullgraf Vogt, he was born on a Read Township farm on October 17, 1883. He spent his entire life in the township o of his birth. Early in this century he moved from the farm into the village of Clayton Center. He never married. He is survived by one brother Arthur, one sister Mrs. Fred (Ella) Lahrs, one half-sister Mrs. Theodore (Lillian) Glawe, Elkader.
