In German, the "a" would be umlauted and the first "e" dropped. She and my gr. grandfather, Ludwig Plagmann were married in Clayton Co. in 1870. She died in childbirth in April, 1874. I have no information on her parents or her siblings. If anyone knows anything about this family, I would be so happy to hear from you.
