    3. Hi Carolyn ! I sent your note on to the county coordinators who are a pretty informed group and below are two answers I received. I'm getting ready to go on a trip, but when I get back if I have any more answers different from these two I will pass to you. Sincerely, Mike Peterson IAGenWeb Chickasaw County Coordinator IAGenWeb Dickinson County Coordinator ---- Everton's has gone out of business, which is a shame. I've been getting their magazine since the 80's, and I'll miss it. They apparently have given all of their archives (books, pedigree charts, manuscripts, etc.) to the City of Logan, Utah. --------- If I remember correctly, I read in the paper a while back that Everton had donated their holdings to the city of Logan. At first it seemed like a great deal for the town then as they began to realize how many more people they would have to hire etc. they are having 2nd thoughts about accepting the donation and having free access. I think the Evertons are all gone and they are just getting out of business. I don't know about the magazine. One article said they would honor the subscriptions but I have seen that promise from other genealogy publishers who didn't. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carolyn Caplinger" <cmcaplinger@sbcglobal.net> To: <IACHICKA-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, November 18, 2004 7:30 PM Subject: [IACHICKA] Everton's Family History Magazine > other library that also gets the magazine since it is across town.
