Fitzsimmons Usher <http://iagenweb.org/boards/chickasaw/obituaries/index.cgi?rev=52921> AUTHOR: Tom Fitzsimmons DATE: 6/10/2004 at 16:48:05 Surnames: FITZSIMMONS,BOHAN,USHER,TAYLOR Mrs. Georgiana Fitzsimmons Usher, 73, resident of Salt Lake City for the past 35 years, died Wednesday at 1:10 a.m. of a heart ailment at her home 861 East 8th South. She was born in Lawler, Ia., a daughter of John and Eliza Bowen [Bohan] Fitzsimmons. On June 15, 1905, she was married to George E. Usher in Lawler. He died in 1934 in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Usher was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes parish, Catholic Church, and was a member of the Altar Society of the parish. She is survived by four nephews, Howard V. Taylor, Salt Lake City; Harold L. Taylor, Haywood, Cal.; Basil M. Taylor, Pocatello, Ida., and Claude Fitzsimmons Lawler. Requiem Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church by Msgr. Patrick Maguire, pastor. The Holy Rosary will be recited Friday at 461 E. 8th South, where friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Salt Lake Tribune, Friday, July 20, 1951.
