Douglas, according to my records he was born 4-25-1856 and died 5-6-1942 in Waterloo. His wife's name was Betsey Oleson. She was born 9-25-1861 and died 10-20-1925. They were married in Chickasaw County 3-1-1881. They are buried in Fairview Cemetery in Waterloo. Her parents were Lewis (Lars) Oleson and Mari Guttormsdotter from Norway. That is the Cutsforth connection. My husband's grandmother was Mary Oleson Cutsforth. I will keep looking for information.
