I was looking for Hannah Murray and I believe I found her married to Thomas Murray, b. Illinois in 1860 but the image is very very hard to read. Looks like it lists five kids and says she had 8 kids, 7 survive. Anyway, on the same page, Utica Township, page 5B, is a Michel O'Roarke, b. Aug 1830, w. Margart, b. 1834 mother of 7 kids, 4 survive. Living with them are John, b. Sep 1867 and William, b. Oct 1875. I would think this is your Michael and not the one in the Iowa Soldiers Home. In 1870 I find Michael ROURKE, Utica Township, Lawler Post Office, Dwelling 146, Family 145. Michael 40, Margaret 35, Margaret 15 b. Conn., Thomas 11, Hannah 9, Catherine 7, John 3, Michael. Back to 1900 I find a Margaret Murray in Utica, Sheet 5a, dwelling 73, family 74 b. Nov 1856, mother of 9 kids, 8 survive, married to Andrew Murray, b. 1855 Illinois, children Katie 18, Michel 16, Andrew 15, Johnnie 13, Martin R. 10, Frank B., Maggie 6, Joseph 4, George Carl 1.
