I know he married Mary Drennen . He was a farmer in Roane County West Virginia , born in 1893 or 1894, fathered 8 children one of whom is Francis Abshire (my grandma born 4/26/1925 died 12/11/1984) also Maxine Smith, James Abshire, Lucille Eden.
