I found the Mclarnans on the 1895 census in Nashua. Phillip age 70, b. Ohio, wife Ann J., 51, b. England, Martha 17, Horrison 16, Chet 13, Samuel 10 all born Chickasaw. In 1870 he is widowed and with Thomas 18, Jacob 16, Sarah 12, Etta 9, Douglas, 7, Susan 5 all born in Indiana and Howard 1, born in Iowa. The name is spelled Mclellan on the index. Many McLarnan's in the WPA burial records; if you don't have that info please let me know and I'll send it direct email to you. If you go to this page - http://iagenweb.org/chickasaw/ - and in the search block enter mclarnan (note nan instead of nen) you will find several pages of data including a bio on Phillip, a newspaper article on the tragic death of Thomas and some other items. Please, if you can't find them, let me know and I will get them forwarded to you. Hope this helps in your search. Good luck. Mike Peterson
