Hello everyone! I am new to the list, so please bear with me. I am researching family in Chickasaw Co. The surname is FLETCHER. So far, I have found James FLETCHER (Lawler, Iowa) listed in the 1880 census. He is listed as a widower (I think his wife's name was Cornelia or Clarissa), and his son John R. FLETCHER is also listed. That is all the information I have so far after two years of searching. As a fairly inexperienced genealogist, I'm not exactly sure how to proceed. Does anyone have any ideas? In fact, has anyone heard anything about the FLETCHER family? I believe they lived in Lawler, Iowa since @ 1875??? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!!
