Greetings Everyone, Sometimes I do take many things for granted, so please excuse me for not giving detailed instruction on downloading the Genealogy Forms or the Acrobat Reader. Here is the step process to follow for downloading Acrobat Reader: 1. Click on this hot-link, which takes you to the page where the forms are. http://www.ancestry.com/download/forms.htm#calendar 2. Slowly scroll down the page a short way, till you see the little yellow rectangle (icon) on the right had side of the page which says "Get Acrobat Reader". It is straight across from "Current Offerings". Click on the yellow rectangle - Acrobat Reader Icon. 3. Wait for the page to load up, the scroll down the page to where it says in big letters..... "Get the Acrobat Reader"...... Right below that there are 3 pale yellow rectangular boxes numbered 1., 2., 3. 4. In Rectangle #1 - Select Acrobat Reader version: There are three small windows, where you make some selections so that you get the version of Acrobat that will run on your system. Language - should say "English" Platform - should indicate YOUR computer's operating system -This refers to .....Windows95, Windows98, NT, the older Windows 3.1, etc...... there are a lot of choices, just pick the one that applies to your computer. Click on the little tiny "down" arrow to get the choices, this will be what is called a "drop down menu". When you find the right selection just click it. Location - should say "USA" 5. Then go to Rectangle #2. "Which area are you most interested in???" I clicked on the little circle (called a "radio button") for Personal Graphics. Below that they ask for your e-mail address. You can fill this in if you want, but believe it is optional. I did NOT fill it in and we kept right on going with no problem!!! 6. Next, go to Rectangle #3. Click on the rectangle that says "DOWNLOAD"........ this takes you to another screen. Wait for it to load up fully and you will then get the standard "FILE DOWNLOAD" Window which asks if you want to run the program right now or SAVE to DISK???? -CLICK the button for "SAVE this Program to DISK". -You will then get one more decision window where you tell the computer where to write the file you are about to download. -I suggest you tell it somewhere on your hard drive, as the file is just over 5MB in size (unless you have a Zip or Jazz drive) and then CLICK on the button to the lower right which says "SAVE". The download then commences. -Takes some time, so I'd allow at least 15 minutes for the download to complete, could take longer, depending on a couple technical variables which I won't go into :-) That's all that's to it. Hope this helps anyone who may have had any problems. -Jannette
