I recently returned from Fredericksburg, IA doing research and I would like to correct the Maple Grove Cemetery. Maple Grove a.k.a. Kidder is correct. However, East is a separate cemetery on the opposite end of town - just as you come into Fredericksburg. I am not sure of my directions back there. You go right at the gas tanks two blocks and then right and that street curves around and you see the sign for the cemetery go right. I am sure this is confusing but hope it is clear enough so that someone in the area can check it out. It is the cemetery where the Padden family is buried. He is the founder of Fredericksburg. Pat
