We were not from Chickasaw county, Iowa, but our relatives were Minnesota, particularly Fairbaugh, Albert Lea, Rush City, Pine City, and others. Also Bogue, Cretsinger surnames. We have reason to beleive that many of our relatives could have spread to Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois. If you have Manska relatives from around the Minnesota area, please email me. One of my sons lives in the Detroit area, and has done extensive genealogy research. It seems that our Manskas came from Pomerania before WWII and may have spelled their names Manske. Thanx A Manska
