    3. Dear Listers, For any of you who are not aware of this unique research opportunity, here is some information. I've used this once myself and was very glad I did. I received some great clues that helped me to keep going on the person I was working on. If you should have a physician in your database that you are trying to search for, this is a great service. This collection is described as: incomplete from 1878 to 1905; comprehensive from 1906 to 1969. Information in the database usually includes: .date of birth .place of birth .medical school attended .place of practice .hospital affiliation .date of death .place of death .obituary Submit you inquiries to: National Genealogical Society Attention: Deceased Physician's File 4527 17th Street North Arlington, VA 22207-2399 Include: First & last name of the physician, time period and location if known.
