Seek information on Thomas RYAN, son of Phillip and Margaret RYAN. He was a native of the village of Gleninchnaveigh, Parish of Upper Church, County Tipperary, Ireland. He and his brother Dennis emigrated to the United States about 1847, settling first in Onondaga County. In 1866 Thomas and Dennis resided in Baraboo, Sauk County, Wisconsin, and Baraboo, Sauk County, Wisconsin. Thomas moved on to Iowa, where we believe he lived in Lawler, Chickasaw County, Clinton, Clinton County, and Independence, Buchanan County. He apparently died before 24 December 1906, when his brother Dennis died in West Point, Columbia County, Wisconsin. Among those who attended the funeral in Sauk City, Wisconsin, were Dennis and Edward RYAN of Independence, Iowa. Thomas also had a granddaughter, Katie McKEEVER who married a WALKER. They had two daughters: Mary E. and Edna F. WALKER.
