Hi everyone! I'm searching for info. on Uriah A. Collison, Elmina (Vanmeer?/Johnson)Collison, Kittie Gertrude (Collison)Moffat, Charles A. Collison. Uriah had a wagonmaking shop in MARBLEROCK IA in the 1870-80's. Charles and Kittie were both born in the late l880's or early l890's. I have a bible with the COMPLETE FAMILIES OF Vanmeer's/Vanmeyers/Vanmier listed along with M.E. Johnson marrying a CHARLES H. JOHNSON. They had two children William R. (died in infancy)and Elmina. There may have been more children after that but it was not added in the bible. Any info. on these families would be most appreciated. I would love to know more about the Johnson's and the Vanmeer's. And the Collison's. Some of the Johnson,Collison's,Vanmeer's/VanMeyers are buried at the east and west cemetaries in Marblerock. Some Collison's are buried in the old Chickasaw cemetary (privately owned & well hidden.) I have etchings and pictures of the tombstones if anyone is interested. Would love to find more!
