Surnames: FITZSIMMONS, BOUGHEN/BOHAN, BLANCHARD Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Zk.2ADE/981 Message Board Post: Hello All: I don't have any information on my great grandmother, Eliza Boughen Fitzsimmons, who died in Lawler in 1903. Her maiden name is shown sometimes as Boughen, other times as Bohan and variations of both. She was born in Ireland about 1838 and emigrated to America in about 1850. I know that she lived on Lincoln Avenue in Lawler at the time of the June 1900 U.S. Census, in which she is shown as widowed. Living with her were her sister, Maria Blanchard, also widowed, and two of Eliza's daughters, Ida and Georgena. Eliza died November 10, 1903 and is buried in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery next to her husband, John, and their daughter, Stella. I would be very grateful if anyone could look for Eliza's obituary and post it here or tell me where it can be found.

    1. WOODS in Nashua Township
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Woods, Huesselman Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Zk.2ADE/978 Message Board Post: I am looking for Rosetta May Woods in the 1900 Census. I believe that she should be in Chickasaw county, Iowa in the Nashua Township, but I cannot find her. I have a newspaper article from the Nashua Reporter dated Oct. 1924. Title of article: "Looking Backwards 20 years." "Items from the Nashua Reporter of Twenty Years Ago this week." It Reads: "Miss Rosetta May Woods, until three years ago a resident of Nashua, was married to Albert Husselman at Osage, Sept. 19." So, from this I gather that she married Albert Huesselman 19 Sep 1904 and as early as 1901 she was a resident of Nashua township. So...why can't I find her in the 1900 census for Nashua township in Chickasaw Co.? Does anyone have a suggestion? I find her in 1910 in the Osage, Mitchell, Iowa census; 1920 in Cedar Falls, Blackhawk, Iowa; and in 1930 in Cedar Falls, Blackhawk, Iowa. Thanks

I have been trying to find information on their father and mother, I have had no luck finding them. Their father I believe was born in Maine, but they had apparently moved to Iowa, my great grandfather William Epriam Williams, their brother, was born or raised in Iowa, but came to Missouri on a cattle drive, so the story goes, met my great grandmother and decided to stay in Missouri. I have been searching for descendants of these families to find my ancestors and any remaining families. I hope you can help. Barbara
