Her father was Angus Muttart and her mother would have been Birtha Carpenter. She lived in Michigan and probably is barried in the Honor, Mich area some place. My guess is she died in the 1950's or maybe early 1960's. Does anyone have any information they can share with me.

He discovered an early interest in art and developed his talents in an art school in Minneapolis. His career in the field of window decorating in Waseca, Minn. and Marshalltown, was terminated after a few year's by the loss of his Health. He returned to Nashua and made his home with a sister, Mrs. Ward B. Smith. After her death in 1939, he resided with his other sister Mrs. D. B. Grawe, until his death, May 14, 1950. Even though he was in ill health, he was active in Boy Scout work for about 15 years serving as scoutmaster about 15 years. His unusual abilities, interests and his affection for young people made him an ideal leader and won for him wide recognition in Scouting circles. Appreciation for his services was expressed in the award of Scouting's highest honor, the Silver Beaver. He was also made a member of the Iowa Historical society in recognition of outstanding research in archaeology and Indian history. For a year preceding his death he owned and operated the Art Kraft studio near the Little Brown church. Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers and one sister, Mrs. Clio Grawe of Nashua: one nephew, Carroll Bartsch of Altadena, Calif., and one niece, Mrs. Winifred Garland, of Dubuque. Funeral services were held at the Chenoweth funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. F. L. Hanscom officiating. Flower ladies were Miss Claudia Smith and Mrs. Kenneth Chandler. Maybe Orville changed his name from his original name of Livingston to Chandler and maybe that is why I can't locate anything on him. Charles Louis Chandler I have as dying in 1952. I am trying to track down any living relatives of the Livingston's such as the ones mentioned. They would be my distant cousins but would like to get to know them. Any information would be of help.

Also there is mention of Louis Chandler in Charles City, and Lester Chandler in Ionia. In 26 Jun 1974 Lorenzo again visits with granddaughter Terry, from Fargo, visiting Orville J. and Lester Chandlers. What date do you have for Charles L. death? Still have a chance to find something on him if I have a date but looks like burial info on Orville and Esther will not be in Nashua Reporter but you could contact them. I do not have a address or phone number of Nashua Reporter but maybe somebody on this listing does and can share with us. You can also go to this page -http://iagenweb.org/chickasaw/outsidegeaniesociety.htm - and get contact information for the Genealogical Society. Sincerely, Mike Peterson

If that happens I'll post something to let you know if you are interested. I found one other piece of informatio and it pertains you your second message. Margaret Murray was an O'Rourke married to Andrew Murray. I;m not sure if Andrew, Kate, and Thomas were siblings but it seems the two families were very close. Family gatherings must have been great. I do not know why the family started to drop the O'. It must have had something about being surrounded by other nationalities. I'm glad we're beyond that today. Anway I have found O'Rourke, Rourke, and Roark. Thanks once again for your help! Dan

I was looking for Hannah Murray and I believe I found her married to Thomas Murray, b. Illinois in 1860 but the image is very very hard to read. Margart, b. 1834 mother of 7 kids, 4 survive. Living with them are John, b. Sep 1867 and William, b. Oct 1875. I would think this is your Michael and not the one in the Iowa Soldiers Home.
