There was a very brief reference in a link on the 150th anniversary of the church that said the late Ray Charles sang at a wedding in 1942. The date could be a typo and that was all it said. The only picture my parents have of their wedding day was taken and later mailed by a complete stranger he signed the back W C Robe from Belle Plaine, Ia.
