John is buried at North Washington. Their children included Theodore Schumacher; Nicholas Schumacher, who married Martha GARDNER (moved to Minnesota and then North Dakota and had 2 children); Anna/Annie Schumacher, who married Nicholas HUGEBACK (lived at Ionia and had at least 5 children); John Schumacher; Lucy Schumacher; Lenna Schumacher, who married Fred LINKEMEYER (lived in New Hampton and had at least 1 child); Mary Schumacher, and Minnie Schumacher. After John's death, Lizzie remarried to a farmer down the road, Mat LENTZ, and moved with him to California. Annie and Nicholas Hugeback's children included Nora Hugeback, who married Charles SWEHLA; Gertrude Hugeback, who married Peter FISCHBACH; Martha Hugeback, who married Art ROTHS; and Monie Hugeback, who married Peter WENTZ.
