Dear Listers, Just a "heads-up" for you that the Chickasaw County Web Site has been updated with a new addition to the Schools Section. You will now find listings of New Hampton High School Graduates for 1887 - 1909. I will be adding more pages as soon as I can get them developed. Hope all our visitors to the web site will find this an interesting and very helpful resource. As far as I know, the web site will be the only source of this data for researchers and we are very grateful to New Hampton High School for sharing this data from their archives. Check it out at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~iachicka/CK_FrontPage.htm Best regards, jannette
Greetings Friends, Just a short note to let you know that the Chickasaw County GenWeb Site Surname Matrix has just been updated. There is a new addition on every page this time. One new feature has also been added within the past day or two. It is referred to as "The GenConnect Gateway". This is basically a link from the GenConnect Boards on the web site to the Chickasaw County Mail List. What happens is that when someone posts a new query or obituary, etc, etc, to one of our GenConnect Boards a message will automatically be posted to our Mail List to let everyone know about the new information. If I'm not mistaken, a "hot link" is also provided at the end of the message, which you can click on and go straight to the specific board, if you like. (If I did all the installation steps properly, this feature is functional right now.) Good luck and good hunting to all of you, Jannette

Greetings Chickasaw County Listers, Just a quick note to let you List Members know that I've updated the Chickasaw County GenWeb Site again. (I've had good intentions of sending you notices like this when I update the Web Site, but haven't been too consistent I'm afraid, and will try harder.) All new requests for additions to the Surname Matrix have been added. And there is a new page in the Research in Chickasaw County Section. The subject is about the Medical Profession and contains the Register of Physicians, Dentists and Midwives in Chickasaw County, as recorded at the court house, for the years 1880 - 1916. Enjoy, Jannette Webmaster, Chickasaw County GenWeb Site
