Bridget KANE (b.? Ireland? d.1917 Chicago) m. John LAMB (b.1830's Ireland d.1914 Chicago) Daughter Anne LAMB was b.6-7-1871 in Winnesheik County, Iowa. Other children were: Thomas, Frank, James, Mrs. Mary Lynch, Mrs. Sarah O'Mara, Elizabeth and Agnes. Sarah was b.1875. I don't know if the others were born before or after Anne or if they were born while the family was in Iowa or after they moved to Chicago. My Bridget and your Mary are about the same age. Do you have any info. on Mary? Parents, siblings, where born in Ireland etc. Also, did your family keep in touch with MANGAN relatives in Chicago? My reason for responding however if to let you know that the 1900-1920 censuses could probably answer most of your questions about your grandparents and great grandparents in Iowa. Once you have a reasonable idea where they lived in 1925 you can look them up on the 1925 state census which may name parents, even of great grampa age 92! He lived in Nashua and died of polio in Charles City, about 3 months before my Dad and his twin sister were born. William and Irma got divorced and then she married his brother Clyde, and then they divorced. That's really all that we know about Irma.
