Hello, all I am searching for any references to the following individuals, whom I believe may have lived in or near Cedar Co., IA, in the time frame of 1870 to 1886: Barnabas Elmore ELDREDGE, b. 3-MAY-1862 Mary M. ROMAN, b. 1863-1865 A marriage record, newspaper article, or any other reference would be very helpful. Barnabas was living with his father Deloss Eldredge in Oxford Mills, IA, in 1870 (census). His first child, Ernest E. Eldredge, was born 27-Aug-1886 in West Liberty, IA. Therefore, I have reason to think he may have been in Cedar Co. in the intervening years. His occupation was carpenter. Norman Eldredge of Clarence TWP, Cedar Co., 1880 is Barnabas's uncle; George D. and Willie B. Eldredge of Cedar Co. were his cousins. Mary M. Roman was wife of Barnabas Eldredge. She was born in OH, but may have come to IA as early as 1868. Parents/relatives unknown. She died of diabetes 15-Oct-1895 in Ft. Dodge, IA. Thank you, Vern
