I'm trying to find any information on where Hadley's Island, Cedar Valley could be. I have some info. that states, "OLIVER PERRY HARPER made the first entry ever made in Cedar Valley, and who located on the quarter north east of the power plant, now known as Hadley's Island. Mr. Harper, who was drowned a few years later in the Cedar River near his sod house, is known, accordingly as the first postmaster of Cedar Valley". Can anyone help me on this???
