    1. Casebeers in or around Tipton, Iowa
    2. Bob Casebeer
    3. In 1852 Samuel Casebeer, after marrying Jemima Brown in Cedar County, Iowa, emigrated to Oregon. I have seen some printed letters from him sent to some of his brothers in Tipton after he emigrated to Oregon. Are there still any Casebeer relatives living in or around Tipton? Some of the names of those related in the 1850s follow: William and Nancy Casebeer Wilford, John and Lurenda Casebeer (one of their children Betsey Starr was a graduate of Grinnell College and was a dentist in Tipton )James and Jane Casebeer; Jonathan and Mary Casebeer (one of their grandchildren--another Jonathan--married Mary Etta Beach, and they had a girl named Grace Irene who married Rudolf Robert Walter of Wilton Junction. These two had two daughters named Nona Walter and nellie Walter. Some of the Casebeers lived in the Sharon area; the Wilfords apparently lived in Rochester, Cedar Co. at one time. Any information? Apparently we Western Casebeers have been out of touch with any of our mid-western relatives since the 1880s. Any help would be appreciated.
