Hi all, I am Joe Derr , family genealogist. I am tracking my ancestors thru Iowa and I have found references that stated that Chalkley Harris DERR and his brother Joseph E. DERR came to Iowa in 1865 settled in Mechanicsville, Cedar Co., and then removed to Jones Co. in 1865, that of the same year he came to the state....
