RAYGOR, 78 John G. Raygor, 78, a retired veteran of the Great Northern Railway Company, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W.H. Whitsitt, 1535 Grand Avenue, Sunday. Born in Salem, Iowa, March 6, 1867, he came to Superior in 1913 and lived here until the death of his wife, eight years ago. Since that time he has lived in Superior during the summer and in California during the winter. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers grand lodge No. 23 of St. Paul. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Blanche Whitsitt, Mrs. Mable Lindahl and Mrs. Idabele Burgraff, all of Superior; Mrs. Winifred Jones, Rodondo Beach, CAlif., and Mrs. Adeline Bishop, San Diego, Calif,; five sons, Everson and Albert, Superior, and Vern, Harold and Glenn, Bremerton, Wash.; one sister, Mrs. Savannah Blanchard, Council Bluffs, Iowa; two brothers, Nat Raygor, Coon Rapids, Iowa, and T.A. Raygor, Council Bluffs; 23 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, at Central Methodist-Congregational church with the Rev. Harold N. Nye officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Greenwood Cemetery. The body will be removed from the Smith-Lange funeral home to the church at noon on Wednesday, to lie in state until the hour of service.
