She married my great grandfather in New Vienna, Dubuque Co., Iowa and moved to Carroll County. Her name was Bernardina Olberding and she had two sisters Josephine and Annie and two brothers Henry and Frank. My great grandfather's name was Johannes Bernard Lampe and together they had 8 children, Henry Bernard, A. Mary C., Anna Bernardina, Gerhard, Bernard Herman, John Heinrich, Joseph Heinrich and Josephine Christina my grandmother.
