She had been talking to a neighbor, Mrs Wayne Hagan, and collapsed in her yard. Funeral services were held Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. in the Trinity Lutheran Church north of town. The Rev. Edward Purdy, officiated the service. Mrs Paul Honold was organist and accompanied the soloist, Mr Sam Cretsinger. Casket bearers were Dewey Conner, Maurice Weeks, Ralph Wheeler, Wilson Pingrey, Leonard Ramsey and Robert Saylor. Burial was in Coon Rapids cemetery. Mrs Foxworthy was born October 20, 1912, near Manning, a daughter of Frederick and Christine Ploog Knaack. She was a longtime resident of Coon Rapids and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was married to Nile (Doc) Foxworthy on July 21, 1944. Surviving are her husband; two brothers, Edward Knaack of Manning and William Knaack of North Hollywood, California; one sister, Mrs Joe (Hildegard) King of Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her parents, a step father, Fred Steinhauer, and a nephew, Gene Knaack.
