Alfred E Rau, pastor, officiated and John Schumacher and Sam Cretsinger were vocalist and was accompanied on the organ by Lula Garnes. Interment was made in the Coon Rapids cemetery. The casket was carried by Kenneth Betts, Dean Corson, Bill Geiger, Val Tuel, Gene Coffman and Gene Hilgenberg. Honorary bearers were Charles Thomas, Maurice Campbell, Aden Owen, Orel Thomas, Vardell Hazelhoff and Arnold Thomas. A native of Coon Rapids, Mr Foxworthy was born May 13, 1906. He married Helen Knaack in Chicago, Illinois. He served in the armed forces in World War II in the South Pacific. He was a longtime employee of the Garst and Thomas company and he retired in 1972. For the past several years, he has lived at the Thomas Rest Haven and that is where he died September 4. His (ending cut off) (JS)
