    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Gk.2ADI/1104.1 Message Board Post: Manning, Iowa is in Carroll County. I don't know what you mean when you say that you found it in Warren County in the 1920 census. Warren County is southeast of Des Moines - a hundred plus miles from Carroll County. Ancestry.com has no index for either the 1910 or the 1920 census. While the images are available, finding anything without knowing the page or image number is pretty time-consuming. Unfortunately, the 1910 census was only indexed for 21 states by the US Government and Iowa was not one of the 21. No-one else has indexed the entire census, but you might find local indexes. You may be faced with trying to find the enumeration district(s) of interest to localize your search. I checked at Ancestry.com and they have a spelling error that may have confused you. If you go to the 1910 census and then Iowa and then Carroll County, you are given a list of Enumeration Districts. One of them is spelled "Minning". This is a mis-type. It really is Manning Town. It is Enumeration District 59. Once there, you are faced with a page-by-page search. Good luck.
