His services were held in Long Beach, CA on June 8, 1957 and he was then buried at the Westminster Memorial Park Westminster, Orange County, CA. His wife Maureen was born in Coon Rapids, IA. Her obituary from the 1/27/1991 Sacramento (CA) Bee reads: CHURCHILL, MAUREEN C. In this city Jan. 24, 1991, aged 74 born in Iowa. A 34 year resident of Sacramento. Retired In 1983 from McClellan AFB after 24 years. Loving mother of Michael B. Churchill. Wife of the late Lt. Clinton F. Churchill, U.S.N., Ret. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Jeanette and Bill Moseley and Mary and Hank Bourdieu. Special aunt of Tim Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews.
