He was reparing a gasoline pump, when the gas ignited from an electric spark. Harry's survivors were his wife, Alpha (Blanchard) Churchill, his sons, Clinton Ford CHURCHILL (who was only about 6 yrs old), Jay Vincent Churchill (prob abt 4 yrs old); his mother, Francis (Allison) CHURCHILL; a sister, Mrs. Henry (Luella CHURCHILL) SCHULTZ; and 3 brothers, Thomas, Frank and Raymond CHURCHILL and other relatives. I also found that Clinton Ford (Doc) CHURCHILL graduated with the Coon Rapids Bayard (Iowa) School class of 1939; he married Maureen Caroline Doran; he died in 1957 when he was only 42 yrs old. His wife, Maureen (DORAN) CHURCHILL born 6 Jan 1917 in IA died 24 Jan 1991 in Sacramento co, CA. Her mother's maiden name was ALBERS. Do you know what caused the early death of Clinton F.
