If not the following message is regarding a JAMES LOUDENBACK. It appears that you might be from another branch of the Loudenback family. But just in case, we are attempting to find a JAMES LOUDENBACK who was suposedly born in Kentucky/Virginia in 1800 (Virginia was split into Virginia, Kentucky, West Virginia during that period). We so far have not been able to find vital records on JAMES or his parents. I have search thousands of names on ship records leaving Germany to the US but have found no passangers with the name "LOUDENBACK". And, assuming that JAMES father was between 18-20 years old when JAMES was born I would think his father (if not born in the USA) would be a passager on a foreign ship between 1700-1800. JAMES had many children including JACOB who is in our family tree. Just wondered if you had anything on this family? In any case I am glad to have talked to another Loudenback. Jim Loudenback
