    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Gk.2ADI/129.152.159.202.503.504.2 Message Board Post: Robert I have sent the following message to an Author Debbie a farber and decided to send it to you because of the same name interest of Matthias Loudenback. If you are interested chating about this relationship let me know. It is possible that Matthias Louderback/Loudenback is an ancestor. However, if Matthias was born in 1749 then he would have been 51 years old when our JAMES LOUDENBACK was born in 1800 (US 1850 Illinois Census) and therefore probably not be JAMES's father. Also, according to the ship record SAMUEL 1739 , Johan David Loudinback who was 23 years of age at the time (thus born 1716) or 61 in 1800. If this is the same Johan then he Matthias could be his son (Johan would have been 33 at the time). The only other LOUDENBACKs sailing between 1700-1800 (based on my search of 145 ship records and 41,500 passangers) are ship Bilander Townshead 1737 - Peter Lauterbach; ship Samuel & Elizabeth - John Adam Loukenback age 24 (born 1716), John Henry Loukenback 18 (born 1722); and, John Garradt Loukenback 50 (born 1690); ship Townsend 1737- Conraed Lautrbach. By the way Murray Nichols, Carol Burton, and Marcia Washburn are cousins and may have contacted you about this same individual. Would you mind letting me know if you have had communication with any of them? According to Murray Nichols, Joseph Loudenback (born 1793 - Virginia) was the son of Mathias and Magdalena Loudenback. There is another record that shows that Eve (born 1794) and Sarah (born 1796) were daughters of Mathias. Matthias had two boys who could, however, be the father of our JAMES. David born 1778-Vir (22 years old at time of JAMES birth) and Philip born 1782 (18 years old at time of JAMES birth). If you have any vital data on DAVID and PHILIP I sure woud like to have a copy. Please contact me at your convience to discuss this possible tie in our family tree.
