Directly below it says, "David A. & Lavina McKune Barber. I have family sheets on Clark McKune Barber, Harold Ivan Barber, Bernard Clark Barber, Harold Leroy Barber. Apparently Clark McKune Barber's father was David Armstrong Barber, and Harriet Agnes Welch was his (Clark's) wife. If this is of interest to you, I will snailmail you copies of family sheets I have. If you will be so kind as to email me your snailmail address, I will send them to you, along with an article titled, "Remembered Stories" as told by John Welch to Francis and Joe Staub. One story tells about Adam and Mary traveling from Kansas to Illinois by covered wagon and the two older boys, Benjamin and Joh, driving the herd of cattle and horses. Hugs to you cousin. Betty

In looking through my family page of Adam Welch and Mary Creighton, I find a Benjamin Jerome Welch, born 1 January 1850, in Franklin Co., PA. Married Harriet Lavinia Hudson 24 December 1878 in Illiopolis, IL. Died 17 December 1895 in Illiopolis, IL, Cem Iowa. Benjamin had a sister, Georgeanna, born in Lawrence, KS, March 1861. She married Frank C. Meyers. Adam's will shows a daughter of Benjamin Welch, deceased (as of 1910) by the name of Carrie Schley. Also, an Adam Welch, son of Banjamin Welch, deceased (as of 1910). Illiopolis is a small town in Central Illinois. Adam married Mary Creighton 1824 in Washington Co., Maryland. Mary died 10 August 1886. Adam lived in Lawrence, Kansas before coming to Illinois. Adam's children are Anne, John, Benjamin, Kate, Martha, Agnes Cecelia, Georgeanna, James Seymore, Frank Pierce, William Henry (my paternal grandfather). My grandfather was John Bengford, Jr., my father his oldest Leo Bengford. Theresa Klocke Bengfort married Lamberty after the death of John. I am curious about do you know where you saw that picture in the antique store? I would love to see what it was. The other have you learned any more of John Lamberty. I have talked with my uncle and he remembers him that he was not as strict as his first grandpa, probably because of the marriage relationship. Anyway I have not been able to find out more about him.
